						Daniel Yau, C.E., T.E., P.T.O.E. Mr. Yau is the President and a founding principal of Y&C.  He is a licensed Civil and Traffic Engineer in California and a licensed Civil Engineer in Nevada. Mr. Yau is also a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (P.T.O.E.) certified by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (I.T.E.).  Mr. Yau has provided traffic engineering services for more than 300 transportation engineering projects in over 100 jurisdictions.  Mr. Yau holds a M.S. degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno
						Kin Chan, P.E. Mr. Chan is the Vice President and a founding principal of Y&C. Mr. Chan is a licensed Civil Engineer in California.  He brings extensive traffic engineering design and CADD management experience to Y&C.  He has successfully prepared plans, specifications, and estimates for traffic signals, lighting, ramp metering, signing, striping, and traffic handling for freeway, roadway, heavy rail, light rail, bike trail, sewer interceptor, and waterline projects.  In addition, he has extensive experience in managing AutoCAD and Microstation files for submittal to various agencies including Caltrans. Mr. Chan holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a M.S. degree in Transportation Engineering from San Jose State University.
